 Upper Thames Mobile Veterinary Services 2023 (closed as of October 30th 2023) 

The following is a list of clinics in South Western Ontario seeing farm animals by telemedicine or in person. Please note that the hospitals listed here may or may not be taking new patients, and may have specifications on what types of clients they accept (for example, minimum herd or flock sizes). None of these hospitals listed have any affiliation with Upper Thames Mobile Vet Services or any agreement to provide emergency services to our clients.

 Individual Sick Chickens: Campus Estates Veterinary Hospital, King Hopkins Vet Hospital, Links Road Animal Hospital, West London Pet Hospital, 404 Veterinary Emergency Clinic, Hockley Valley Mobile Vet Clinic, Glencoe Animal Hospital, Hirji Mobile Veterinary Services (Toronto area).

 Sheep, Goats, Alpacas: Kirkton Vet Clinic, Mitchell Vet Services, Tavistock Vets, Talbot Road Animal Hospital, Upper Grand Vet Services, Dunnville Vets, Paris Animal Hospital, New Hamburg Vets, Harwich Vet Services, Hirji Mobile Veterinary Services (Toronto area), Oxford Bovine (more than 20 to 30 head herd size minimum), Milverton-Wellesley Veterinary Clinic.

 Virtual Care only (telemedicine, online platforms): “Vetster” does have doctors that will see pet pigs with a telemedicine consult or “VETSON/Slant Road Animal Hospital” is doing some virtual large animal telemedicine. Severn Veterinary Services offers telemedicine herd/flock consulting. 

 Sanctuaries: Hirji Mobile Veterinary Services (Toronto and surrounding area).

 Pet poison Hotline 1-855-764-7661 24/7 if you pet goat, pig or chicken has eaten something poisonous or a non-food item. 

 Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph will see pigs, cattle, goats, sheep and alpacas. Generally a veterinary referral to required but If you do not currently have a veterinarian you can call and they may be able to help you.
